Dance of Typography

My approach to represent ‘Dance of Typography’ is to use very basic elements such as the words of the theme in one typeface (Helvetica Neue - bold) and two colors (red & black) to create a rich, rhythmic and dynamic look. It relates to the literal meaning of ‘Dance of Typography’.

My point is that typefaces are available in abundance nowadays, which is a nice thing. However, after working as a graphic designer for many years, I agree with what Paul Rand once said. He said: “we (graphic designers) don’t need a lot of typefaces, we just need to know how to use them.” We can just use one typeface in many different ways and the results can still look so diverse and interesting. The movie and books about one typeface - Helvetica proved my point.
